Christmas

It was a good Christmas!! I only got one day off work but it was still so much fun! I got a nice winter coat which I really needed! We got my little sister an old (working) Minolta x-370, and I think that was the most exciting present to watch be opened... she had no idea!! Anyway here are some photo booth pics me and the little sister took while waiting for dinner to be done...

About 6 Christmas's ago I got The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with every single one of his Holmes stories. I think it is one of my favorite Christmas presents ever!! I read every one of those mysteries till the early hours of the morning because I could not go to bed without knowing who the murder was! So of course I was over the moon when I saw this movie was coming out (especially because Jude Law would be starring in it!). So me my mom and my sister (my dad went to bed what an old man haha) went to see it Christmas night and I was not disappointed! I loved it and was glad it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be. I really like how everything comes together in the end!! Go see it!

All I Want For Christmas

My favorite holiday of all time is almost here and I am determined to make it the best yet... hmm hope I didn't just jinx it... My family is usually running all over the place for Christmas, we usually go back to Jersey and do the marathon family visits, but this year we are staying home. I will miss our big Christmas Eve dinner (we're Italian so we have the whole Feast of The Fishes... and then some!!). Hopefully we will still be going to NJ just later on maybe in January, everyone will just have to save Christmas for when I get there! Anyway we are finally going to start some of our own Christmas traditions! We haven't decided all of them yet but we have decided on a gingerbread house contest, a day full of baking delicious italian pastries (recipes to come!!), watching It's a Wonderful Life, making our own garland (from cranberries and popcorn), and that's all we have so far! If you have any traditions you would like to share I would love to hear them! And finally here it is, my Christmas list this year...

And today I leave you with a Christmas clip from my favorite show of all time (really ask any of my friends I quote this show entirely TOO much)...
