Nikon or Canon?
Ok so the age old question Nikon or Canon?? It is almost like picking your political party, Republican or Democrat. I guess that would make Sony the Independent party... No one agrees and the arguments go on forever, but I don't care! I need to pick one so I want to hear some opinions. I have a Nikon right now (D40) which I like just fine but I would really like to get a more professional camera. My predicament is a lot of the photographers I admire use Canons, which I know doesn't mean much cause it's all about the operator, but still you know what I mean. On the other hand Nikon seems to have a more clear focused picture while the Canons seem to get a little grainy. Is this just me?? I don't know. Tell me what you think...

Want It: My Dream Boots
So I have been trying to find the perfect pair of boots foreverrrr. I have a vintage pair I got off Ebay that I love but they are falling apart because I wear them so much. Because I live in boots I have decided that it is time to suck it up and by an expensive high quality pair that will last. I love Frye boots and know they have a great reputation and will last me. The only problem is a lot of their boots are more western than I like. Don't get me wrong I love cowboy boots, but I already have two pairs of those, I want a more classic riding boot. Soooo when I found these I fell in love!! The only problem is the price tag! I don't really want to go more than $300. So hopefully these will go on sale (yeah right!) or I will break down and buy them one day...

My Favorite Flickr
I found Joy Newell's Flickr when I was about 18. I actually found her myspace first, yessss way back when Myspace was cool. I thought her photos were beautiful and loved how clear yet vintage they felt. I was shocked when I found out she was only 14. She is much older now but even back then her photographic capabilities where way beyond her years. She is also a very sweet girl. My little sister has emailed her questions about photography and cameras and she always gets back to her and truly tries to help her out. I think it is great that such a talented girl has stayed grounded in herself and even her faith. She is sure to go far and I can't wait to see what she will come up with next!! Fishs Eddy
While talking with my boss about his upcoming trip to NYC he told me about this awesome store! I love whimsical touches in the kitchen and I think these glasses and accessories are adorable! Fishs and Eddy is the name of the store and it is based in NY, but thankfully with the help of the internet we are able to shop without dealing with that dreaded subway...
