Marvelous Movies
I loooove movies, but usually they are old ones. The movies from the 80's on may be chessily entertaining but there are very few of them that I believe are close to the masterpieces of the good ol' days. That being said I usually don't get too excited when new movies come out, but I am actually really excited about these two! I love Jane Eyre, and we actually own the older version of this movie (the one with Timothy Dalton) and it is my Mom's absolute favorite! She watched this trailer with me and said "Oh it looks really good, like they stayed close to the story line, if only Timothy Dalton was still in it." I think she has a little crush... Timothy Dalton or not I think it is going to be another good one! The second is more of an Indie film and I think it can go either way... Blue Valentine is about a couple struggling to keep their marriage together. I of course love Ryan Gosling so I think I may partially like this one because of him (guess I can't make fun of mom for her crush anymore). Both are coming out in the next couple of months and I can't wait to see them both...

My Christmas List
Things are finally winding down here! My last day of class is Tuesday, and I am almost done with all of my projects! Praise the Lamb!! I have had an average of 3 to 4 hours sleep a night this past month and I am ready to get back to my good ol' 8 hours. Like I have mentioned before a lot of things are changing as this semester ends and I really can't wait to share them (they are not completely set in stone yet, but will be soon). Until then... can we get some holiday cheer on this page?! I LOVE Christmas. I know, so does everyone else... I usually don't have as much time as I would like around the holidays because of stupid school, but this year I am going to try to fit in a little more Christmas activities. To kick this holidayness off here is my Christmas List (this is basically just for fun I do not expect to get all of these things, just items I have been wanting for a while) for this year...
4. Vertigo DVD
OH! and these too...
And finally my favorite Christmas song... I know it is sooo cheesy (it may be the most ridiculous video I have ever seen) but I just LOVE it...

Want It: Leather Owl Purse
Sorry about no Friday FInds lately, they are just a little too time consuming for me right now. Don't worry they will be back once this busy semester is over! In the mean time, feast your eyes on this AMAZING bag! I seriously have not wanted a purse more in my life. And if it was less then $100, I would scoop it up in an instant! Seriously the cutest leather bag ever!! Check it out HERE.
Oh, and current song obsession...

Halloween Outfit: Sailor!
So, I thought I would share my Halloween costume from this year. I was a sailor! I actually kind of threw it together once I found the hat at Target. I already had the dress and shoes, so all I really went out and bought were the hat and knee socks. Thrifty! I know!! All of my Halloween costumes usually come from what I find at thrift stores and around the house, and they never cost more then $10. Halloween stores are just such a rip off and I refuse to spend that much on a costume I will only wear once (plus they are usually way too tacky or slutty for my taste)! I never went trick or treating as a child so I find an extra amount of fun in dressing up each year. So far I have been, Snow White, a Native American Indian, a doll, and of course, a sailor! I 'll show those pictures some time (the doll was my personal favorite so far). Anyways, here's my outfit and where I got everything, enjoy!!

Hat: Target
Ribbon: Found in my Studio
Dress: Thrift Store
Knee Socks: Target
Shoes: Steve Madden

Fall Tradition: Pumpkin Picking!
Like I promised, here is our second Fall tradition of pumpkin picking!! Like the fair, we always go to the same place every year. Which is actually targeted at mainly younger kids, but really that just makes it all the more fun for us! They have HUGE fields of pumpkins and cute little installments (gigantic cows and pilgrim cut outs) which we take pictures with every year. It really is fun to go with my mom and sister because no matter what, each year we have a blast and come home with some really awesome pumpkins! Unfortunately my pumpkin did not make it very far this year (there was a slight constructional mishap when I tried to carve it into a ship, and there was a cave in... it looks more like a shipwreck now). But that's ok because I still had a blast anyway!
